Pastor Luke received his call to pastoral ministry out of the rich community of a small group Bible study – a call to offer his own lifelong fascination with the Bible to help others recognize, understand and love Jesus Christ more for themselves. Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Pastor Luke is a graduate of Central College (Pella, IA) with a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary (Princeton, NJ) and has served as a Minister of Word & Sacrament in the Reformed Church in America (RCA) since 2011 with churches in Minnesota and Wisconsin. In addition to leading worship and programs within the church, Pastor Luke also enjoys being a part of the sports community of Randolph/Cambria, keeping up with the Randolph Chamber of Commerce, and coordinating ministry with fellow Randolph churches.
I married Brenda Cupery and joined the First Reformed Church in 1973. We have three daughters and 16 grandchildren. I am retired from the prison system and began the custodial position in 2012.
